NIS Urged to Repent of Its Outbursts and Apologize for Them
Pyongyang, October 7 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions issued a statement on Oct. 2 titled "National Intelligence Service preoccupied with anachronistic dream should repent of its outbursts and apologize for them."

The statement recalled that on Oct. 1 when a lawmaker from the Democratic Labor Party demanded a stop to the suppression of the progressive organizations, the second assistant director of the service did not hesitate to bluster that "the society cannot advance even a step without eliminating the leftist forces."

This shows what extent the moves of the Lee group of traitors have reached to revive fascist dictatorship, the statement said, and continued:

Lurking behind the recent crackdown upon the above-said organizations with the mobilization of all security forces is a politically motivated scenario of the Lee group to maintain its pro- big business and undemocratic regime.

We vehemently denounce the service's Cold War-minded way of thinking and will join all the people in the struggle against the "government's" suppression under the pretext of "security" and get the NSL, an evil law of the times, repealed without fail.
