Speeches were made at the events.

The chairman of the Ecuadorian Cultural Institute for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the WPK serves as a great model of the world revolutionary parties and a beacon indicating a clear way of building socialism for the undying exploits President Kim Il Sung performed in the party building.

Though the President passed away, the WPK remains an invincible party thanks to General Secretary Kim Jong Il who has creditably carried forward his cause, the chairman stressed.

The manager of the Laos-Korea Tin Company, after watching a film showing the might of the single-minded unity of the Korean people, praised the WPK for having not only achieved great successes in its work for the prosperity and development of the country and the promotion of the well-being of the people but made a great contribution to the human cause of independence under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the last period.
