Kangwon Province is famous for having many scenic spots on the east coast including Songdowon, Chongsokjong and Sea Kumgang from long ago. The Jasan bathing beach is associated with the loving care and benevolence of the motherly Workers' Party of Korea which spares nothing for promoting the people's wellbeing.

The bathing beach with various facilities, management buildings for service and parking lots has been built on the seashore of picturesque Jasan-ri. This is another cultural and emotional life base for working people, youth and students to enjoy socialist civilization to their heart's content.

An inauguration ceremony of the Jasan bathing beach took place on the spot on July 23.

Present there were officials, working people and builders of Kangwon Province and Thongchon County. A speech was made there.

Working people, youth and students in the province and the county spent a pleasant time at the beach that day.
