Many literary works praising him as the eternal sun of Juche have been produced over the past 10-odd years to instill the iron truth of immortality of the leader into the minds of the people.

The idea and feelings of all the people to glorify the cause of the sun for all ages are deeply reflected in those literary works.

Among them are more than 10 full-length novels as parts of the serial "Immortal Guidance" representing the revolutionary career and undying revolutionary exploits of Kim Jong Il and his noble personality as a great man on the highest ideological and artistic level.

There are also collections of short stories marking the 70th and 80th birth anniversaries of Kim Jong Il and a collection of memorial poems. They show the people's reverence for the benevolent father who took care of all the people in the country and brought them up to be heroes and genuine patriots with his warm care like the sun, and their high sense of moral obligation to hold him in high esteem forever.

This year alone witnessed the production of a large number of literary works, including poem "Ardent Life", lyrics "Whistle of Train for Field Guidance" and short story "Unlimited World" that implant the great father's ardent feelings and love in the hearts of all the people.

Many literary works carrying the deep yearning for Kim Jong Il were also created by teachers, researchers, workers and officials of various units and residents and working people across the country.
