Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games is a big national sports games which is held every year with the birthday of President Kim Il Sung (April 15) as an occasion.

During the games, competitions will be made in 20-odd events including football, basketball, volleyball and gymnastics in Pyongyang, Phyongsong, Hamhung, Sariwon and other parts of the country.

Men's and women's football contest will be held on a group round-robin and knock-out basis, divided into groups by class and age. The premier football teams will compete at Kim Il Sung Stadium and Sosan Football Stadium.

Disinfection and ventilation of gymnasiums, medical check-up on players and coaches and other emergency anti-epidemic works will be strictly conducted during the sports games.
