Stricter Anti-Epidemic Measures Taken in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- The campaign for thoroughly preventing the inroads of COVID-19 through strict observation of the state anti-epidemic rules is getting brisk in the DPRK.

The central emergency anti-epidemic sector, remaining vigilant over the global health crisis, has taken necessary steps in advance to consolidate the anti-epidemic walls and facilitate the economic development and improvement of the people's living standard.

All fields, units and people concentrate on establishing strong discipline and order to successfully carry out the anti-epidemic measures taken by the Party and the state, while rejecting indolence, slackness and carelessness.

The inspection and quarantine field, in close contact with relevant units, has further tightened the rules on disinfection and treatment of materials. Its officials are urged to fulfill their responsibility for making sure flawless jobs of its workers.

Offshore farms, while responsibly conducting medical tests of their employees, have taken measures to ensure that vessels and equipment are thoroughly disinfected and the relevant anti-epidemic rules strictly observed.

The emergency anti-epidemic units in different parts of the country are intensifying the campaign for preventing the inroads of COVID-19.

Temperature-taking and disinfection of the workers and vehicles involved in spring tree-planting are carried out correctly as specified in the anti-epidemic protocol. The units also make sure that those planting trees work in dispersed groups to keep distancing and never touch wild animals.

They also pay deep attention to making sure that there would be no violation of the anti-epidemic rules in the fields of public transport and commerce and public catering facilities.
