Present at the closing ceremony were Choe Hwi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea who doubles as chairman of the National Sports Guidance Committee, officials concerned, sportspersons and working people.

The Taesongsan Sports Team took the first place in team standings.
