Statue of Drafted Worker Erected Outside Japanese Embassy in South Korea
Pyongyang, November 6 (KCNA) -- Workers affiliated to a south Korean organization called Seoul Kyore Hana erected a statue symbolic of the workers drafted by the Japanese imperialists outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on October 30, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Tongil News.

The organization has staged an intensive struggle demanding Japan's apology and reparation for the past crimes committed by the Japanese imperialists since it launched a demonstration before the Japanese embassy on Oct. 1.

Angered by the Japanese authorities' behavior of refuting the south Korean supreme court's judgment obliging Japan to make reparation and insulting the victims of the forcible draft, the members of the organization erected the statue outside the Japanese embassy on the lapse of one year since the judgment.
