Many People Visit Revolutionary Battle Sites in Mt Paektu Area
Pyongyang, October 26 (KCNA) -- Over 800 000 people of more than 18 000 units visited the revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu, the sacred place of revolution, for the past five years after Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un climbed the mountain on Oct. 27, Juche 103 (2014). The mountain is associated with undying revolutionary histories and feats of the peerlessly great persons.

A constant stream of officials, working people, service personnel, youths and students from across the country went round the mountain associated with the spirit of Korea.

Visitors including administrative leading officials and Party information workers looked around Pochonbo, bivouacs in Chongbong and Konchang and other places to cherish the personality of President Kim Il Sung as the peerlessly great man who led the great anti-Japanese war to victory.

Officials and members of the working people's organizations including youth league officials, youths and students from across the country also marched through the dense forests of Mt Paektu, holding aloft the red flag associated with the spirit the revolutionary forerunners as a pole of faith.

As many as 186 000 people visited the revolutionary battle sites and revolutionary sites in the area of Mt Paektu in 2016 when the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea was held.
