17th Pyongyang International Film Festival Closes
Pyongyang, September 27 (KCNA) -- The 17th Pyongyang International Film Festival closed with due ceremony at the Pyongyang International Cinema House on Friday.

Present at the closing-ceremony were Jon Kwang Ho, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Cha Hui Rim, chairman of the Pyongyang City People's Committee, officials concerned, creators and artistes of the film field, Pyongyangites and honorary guests, delegations and delegates of different countries and international judges.

Invited to the ceremony were diplomatic envoys and representatives of international bodies here, military attaches and members of foreign embassies, and overseas compatriots staying here.

The result of the festival jury was read out and prizes were awarded at the ceremony.

Adopted there was a letter to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un from the participants in the festival.

Jong Yong Nam, director-general of the National Administration of Motion Picture Industry, made a closing address.
