Noting the Korean people are still praising Kim Jong Suk, who dedicated her whole life to the liberation of the country and the happiness of the people, as the mother of Korea, the statement went on:

Kim Jong Suk was the most loyal comrade-in-arms and comrade of President Kim Il Sung and a crack shot and able political activist.

She devotedly protected the President and raised Chairman Kim Jong Il to be the successor to the President.

She let soldiers of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army to firmly trust and follow only Kim Il Sung with the strong revolutionary spirit under any difficult circumstances. She creditably aided the work of the President for building a new Korea after liberation.

The revolutionary career of Kim Jong Suk was short but glorious.

She, the mother of Korea and paragon of women revolutionaries, will be remembered forever.
