Poems Written to Encourage Working People in DPRK
Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Many poems were written in the DPRK to encourage the Party members and other working people to the attainment of this year's goals.

Poets and amateur writers across the country have written 800 odd poems reflecting the reality from the beginning of the year.

Writers of the Central Committee of the Writers Union of Korea completed a collection of poems "My field stands by the road to Pyongyang" and wrote many poems representing the active efforts made by agricultural workers.

They also dedicated poems to the miraculous successes made in the national defence industry under the direction of the Workers' Party of Korea, thus helping people cherish confidence in victory and encouragement.

At industrial establishments including the Sangwon Cement Complex, the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex and the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex, they wrote many poems indicative of the ideological and moral world of the workers.

Poets and amateur writers across the country also wrote poems reflecting the pride and honor of the shock brigade members who are transforming Samjiyon County into a model mountainous town and socialist fairyland.

At construction sites including the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area and the Orangchon Power Station, poets are praising the exploits of the builders in the epics.
