In the message Kim Jong Un expressed deep thanks to Raul Castro Ruz for sending warm congratulations to him on the occasion of the 71st founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

The message went on:

I am pleased over the fact that the friendly and cooperative relations between our two parties and peoples of the two countries which have made the six-decade long history, have firmly been inherited and further developed as required by a new era.

I express expectation and belief that the CPC and fraternal Cuban people would achieve greater victory and success in the struggle for advancing the cause of socialism vigorously generation after generation under the wise leadership of you, Comrade First Secretary.

I sincerely wish you, Comrade First Secretary, good health.
