Women's Union Officials and Members Visit Hoeryong Revolutionary Site
Hoeryong, September 20 (KCNA) -- Women's union officials and members from across the country visited the Hoeryong Revolutionary Site on Sept. 19 on the occasion of the 70th demise anniversary of the anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk.

They made a bow to the statue of Kim Jong Suk at the foot of Osan Hill after laying a floral basket and bouquets before the statue.

Then they saw historic relics in the low-roofed old home of Kim Jong Suk, where she was born into a patriotic and revolutionary family and spent her childhood.

At the Hoeryong Revolutionary Museum the visitors looked back upon the brilliant career and revolutionary feats of the woman commander of Mt Paektu who became a bodyguard faithfully upholding the idea and leadership of President Kim Il Sung and dedicated herself to the liberation and prosperity of the country.

At the plaza before her statue they held an oath-taking meeting on Sept. 20.

They pledged to remain faithful to the idea and leadership of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un by following the strong spirit shown by Kim Jong Suk to devotedly defend the leader.
