The contest was held in Pyongyang and local areas, divided into three categories of school - senior secondary, junior secondary and primary schools, with over 10000 members of sports groups at schools throughout the country involved.

They competed in 18 events including basketball, Taekwon-Do and Ssirum.

They displayed well sports techniques and team spirit they have cultivated in the past and played fair games.

Pyongyang City took the first place in total standings and over 50 players were selected as April 18 best players.
