Amid the playing of the song "Long Live Great Illustrious Commander of Songun" at the venues of dancing parties in Pyongyang, including the plazas of the Monument to Party Founding and the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium, youth and students represented the sea of dancers in token of the humblest reverence for Kim Jong Il.

The participants danced to the tunes of such songs as "Our General Is the Best", "This Is Thanks to the Songun Politics of General", "Cheers of the People", "Song of Youth" and "Dash toward Future".

There were similar dancing parties in provincial seats, cities and counties on the same day.
