Kim Jong Il's history of Songun revolution can be called a heroic epic adorned with the immortal exploits he performed in the revolutionary cause of Juche while covering the unexplored path with his iron will and superhuman energy.

Kim Jong Il, who cherished as his belief the iron truth that the arms of the revolution guarantee the victory of socialism, made sure Songun ran through the whole course of the revolutionary leadership.

To him, Songun was the manifestation of the absolute loyalty to the leader and an eruption of the ardent love for the country and people.

Thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Il who paved the path of Songun revolution with his tireless passion, fighting spirit and patriotic devotion, a radical turn was brought about in bolstering the revolutionary armed forces and changes were effected in all fields of socialist construction including politics, economy and culture.
