On this occasion, working citizens from all walks of life, school youth and children and servicepersons are visiting the Fatherland Liberation War Historic Site.

The site is a place where the Supreme Command of the Korean People's Army was situated during the war. Staying there from January Juche 40 (1951) to July Juche 42 (1953), President Kim Il Sung worked miracles of world-historic significance to repel the invasion of the imperialist allied forces with Juche-oriented military idea and theory and rare military wisdom and commanding art.

Preserved at the site in their origin are such historic buildings as the supreme command post with 18-square meter office room and a nearly 30-square meter half-underground operation room, and revolutionary relics and spots.

And a house was built over the supreme command post under the sagacious guidance of Chairman Kim Jong Il to keep it eternally.

All the historic sections of the site are associated with traces of the President who had tirelessly worked night and day to lead the war to victory.
