Greetings to Maldivian President

Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) -- Choe Ryong Hae, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Friday sent a message of greeting to Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, president of the Republic of Maldives, on the occasion of its independence.

Expressing the belief that the friendly relations between the two countries would develop in a fresh way in conformity with common interests of the two peoples, the message wished the Maldivian president bigger successes in his responsible work for the country's progress and prosperity.
