For the past 40 years since it was founded on July 25, Juche 68 (1979), the revolutionary museum made a positive contribution to defending and adding brilliance to the exploits of Chairman Kim Jong Il and arming the Party members, working people, youth and students with the revolutionary traditions of the Workers' Party of Korea.

It achieved successes in the work to preserve revolutionary relics by discovering and displaying lots of revolutionary historical data and relics showing the leadership exploits of Kim Jong Il and strengthening education through them.

A meeting for marking the anniversary took place on Wednesday.
