The contests were held, divided into three groups according to the ages, in the form of men's and women's individuals, mixed doubles and group matches, with more than 270 children and over 90 amateurs selected at provincial try-outs involved.

Pyongyang City came first in total standings at the national children's paduk contest and the national amateur paduk contest respectively.
