The Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association, the Pakistan Association for Self-Reliance Studies and the Pakistan Committee for Supporting Korea's Reunification in a joint statement said that H.E. Kim Jong Un ushered in a new era for Korea's reunification and global peace with his outstanding political caliber and bold decision.

The joint statement went on:

Peace in the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world would firmly be defended by him.

If the U.S. truly wants peace, it should accept sincere proposals of the DPRK.

The Pakistani Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Pakistani branch of the coordination association for women's rights of the world women's movement in a joint statement noted that the Singapore DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks held in June 2018 were enthusiastically supported by the whole world.

The joint statement went on:

This was an event of weighty significance in promoting the historic trend towards peace, stability, reconciliation and cooperation in the Korean peninsula and the region and changing the most hostile relations between the DPRK and the U.S. as required by the development of the era.

We are convinced that the establishment of the new relations between the DPRK and the U.S. would be conducive to ensuring peace in the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world and demand that the U.S. thoroughly implement the DPRK-U.S. joint statement.
