Venezuelan City's Highest Order Awarded to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un

| Pyongyang, June 18 (KCNA) -- Naguanagua City, Carabobo State, Venezuela awarded the "Naguanagua City Order", the highest order of the city, to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the "period of the international action for peace, prosperity and reunification of the Korean peninsula" and the first anniversary of the adoption of the historic June 12 DPRK-U.S. Joint Statement. A meeting for conveying the order took place on June 11. Present there were figures of the Carabobo State Government, the city office, the city council and political parties and organizations of Venezuela, the DPRK ambassador to Venezuela and his embassy member and others. A decision on awarding the highest order to the Supreme Leader and the certificate of the order were read out there. Conveying the order, the certificate and the written decision to the DPRK ambassador, the mayor of the city said that Kim Jong Un is a great model of the revolutionary people of the world including the Venezuelan people as he has led the socialist cause of the DPRK and the cause of national reunification to victory. He stressed that it is the highest happiness and pride of them, moved by his greatness, to award the highest order of the city to Kim Jong Un. |
