Present there from the DPRK side were Army General Pak Jae Gyong, chairman of the Korean Committee of Veterans against Imperialism, and members of the committee and from the Lao side members of the delegation of the Lao Veterans Federation led by President Keomixay Somphon and Sisavath Khamsaly, Lao ambassador to the DPRK.

At the talks both veterans' organizations informed each other of their activities and had an exchange of views over boosting exchange and cooperation between them.

That day the Korean Committee of Veterans against Imperialism gave a reception in welcome of the delegation of the Lao Veterans Federation.
