Members of Youth Organizations of DPRK and Russia Meet

Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- There was a meeting between the delegation of the Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist Youth League led by Pak Chol Min, chairman of its Central Committee, on a visit to Russia and representatives of several youth organizations of Russia including Chairman of National Council of the Russian Association of Youth and Children Grigory Petushkov on April 30.

The chairman of the National Council of the Russian Association of Youth and Children said that the council has built a close connection with the youth league of the DPRK and has strengthened support and solidarity on several international arenas including the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students.

He continued that it is vital for the youth organizations of the two countries to expand and develop exchanges and cooperation commensurate with the bilateral relations that have been put on a new high stage by the top leaders of the two countries.

He noted that they value the friendship with the Korean youth and give priority to vigorously developing it. To this end, they will further deepen the friendly feelings between the youths of the two countries by realizing several meaningful initiatives and proposals, he added.
