Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Birthday Spread to Widow of Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Martyr
Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Thursday sent a birthday spread to Wi Chang Suk, widow of the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyr Ri Ul Sol, on her 90th birthday.

She graduated from Kim Il Sung Higher Party School, leading a worthwhile life under the care of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk. Then, she became a department director of a county Party committee and a political official of the People's Army.

During those days, she experienced the noble personality of the peerlessly great persons and authored a full-length memoir and many other books about her experience, thus tangibly contributing to the education of the Party members and other working people in the greatness of the peerlessly great persons.

Praising her deed, though it was what she was obliged to do, Kim Il Sung presented a gold ring bearing his august name to her and made sure that she was awarded state commendations.

Kim Jong Il saw to it that she participated as a delegate in the events for celebrating the 55th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, always paying deep attention to her work and life.

When her husband Ri Ul Sol passed away, Kim Jong Un saw to it that he was buried at the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong. He took the warmest loving care of Wi Chang Suk and other bereaved family members.

Wi Chang Suk, who had received a wedding spread personally prepared by Kim Jong Suk, the woman commander of Mt. Paektu, with the blessings of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, significantly celebrated her 90th birthday under the care of Kim Jong Un.
