Vietnamese Vice-President Supports Peace on Korean Peninsula
Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- DPRK Ambassador Kim Myong Gil paid a farewell call on Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, vice-president of Vietnam, on April 5.

The vice-president said that the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung are soon to turn 70 years.

He said that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's recent official goodwill visit to Vietnam was a historic event which helped lift the traditional relations of friendship between the two countries to a higher level in various fields.

Congratulating the DPRK's government and people on their remarkable achievements in socialist construction, he said he was convinced that the Korean people would win bigger victories under the guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Kim Jong Un.

He affirmed that the Communist Party and government of Vietnam would as ever prioritize the friendly relations with the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government and maintain the constant stand of supporting peace and stability of the Korean peninsula.
