Day of Sun to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, March 31 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating President Kim Il Sung's birth anniversary, the Day of the Sun, was formed by the Amur Regional Branch Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on Mar. 23. L. A. Kobuizov, first secretary of the Amur Regional Branch Committee, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to give publicity to the revolutionary career and undying exploits of President Kim Il Sung, the great personality of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the successes made by the Korean people in socialist construction through media and organize diverse political and cultural events like seminar between Mar. 23 and Apr. 25. |
