Day of Sun to Be Marked in Kuwait

Pyongyang, March 25 (KCNA) -- A Kuwaiti preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung (Day of the Sun) was formed on March 17.

Javid Ahmad, director of the Administrative Department of the Kuwait Times who doubles as chairman of the Kuwait Asian Journalist Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee set a celebration period from March 18 to April 15 and decided to hold colorful political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of the President.
