Day of Sun to Be Marked in Iran

| Pyongyang, March 18 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee of the Islamic Coalition Party of Iran for celebrating President Kim Il Sung's birth anniversary, Day of the Sun, was formed on Mar. 11. A vice-general secretary of the party was elected as chairperson of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period between Mar. 11 and April 16 and decided to hold diverse political and cultural events in praise of the President's revolutionary career and exploits. It also decided to give wide publicity to the achievements made by the Korean people in socialist construction under the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. |
