Korean People Make Innovation at Work Sites
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- With deep yearning for Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un on a foreign tour, the Korean people have made innovations at their work sites.

Builders of Chongchongang-Phyongnam irrigation waterway got down to the main dam concrete tamping scheduled for March from the end of February, while dynamically hastening the basic excavation project for core wall.

They are pushing ahead with the waterway tunnel extension project and other projects in three-dimensions to over-fulfill their daily plan twice.

Workers and technicians of the Sangwon Cement Complex, a leading producer of building materials, produced thousands of tons of cement every day to carry out their February plan ahead of schedule by operating machines at full capacity.

The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex boosts the production by ensuring continuous melting, while the Taean Heavy Machine Complex makes innovation in the production of custom-built equipment to be sent to grand construction sites through a mass technical innovation movement.

Successes have been registered at hydro-power stations in Jagang Province.

The Kanggye Youth Power Station is ensuring high efficiency with little amount of water by controlling water in a responsible manner and Jangjagang and Wiwon power stations are generating much more electricity.

Many minor hydraulic power stations of the province, including the Manpho Yonha Power Station, are ensuring the normal operation of generating equipment to increase the output of electricity.

Meanwhile, the Ryongnam Dockyard is hastening the repair of several large cargo vessels and tens of fishing boats.
