Invited to it were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, and other senior party and government officials; officials of ministries and national institutions and working people in Pyongyang.

Among the audience were overseas Koreans and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front.

The performance started with song and dance "The General Association of Korean Residents in Japan Shines with Blessings of February". Put on the stage were such numbers as female solo "Ode to Comrade Kim Jong Il", male solo "His Ideal" and dance "Flower I Love".

The performance touched the heartstrings of the audience as it well represented the deep yearnings for Kim Jong Il who took deep care of the sons and daughters residing in an alien land just as one would do to one's own family members.

The performance reached its climax with male solo "The Country Precisely Means the Marshal" and male solo and mixed chorus "Our National Flag" portraying their ardent love for socialist motherland led by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Some numbers reflected the firm will and indomitable spirit of Koreans in Japan to further develop the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, the patriotic legacy left by Kim Jong Il, into the Juche-oriented overseas Koreans organization under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
