Lawmakers from the LKP held "May 18 all people hearing" and linked the Kwangju Uprising to the north and insulted the uprising as a riot and even showed its sordid intention to distort the fact, the editorial said.

Citing a candidate running for its leadership post as pledging to "take the lead in ferreting out May 18 elements" with taxes collected from people, if he is elected, the editorial said his remarks are enough to betray the nature of the LKP.

Saying that people wouldn't forgive those distorting the uprising to conceal the truth of the thrice-cursed massacre, the editorial stressed that it is the LKP's turn to be taken to the court following Park Geun Hye and Ryang Sung Thae as it is the hotbed of all evils.
