The north-south and the DPRK-U.S. summit meetings and talks that Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, had last year proved the validity of the independent line for peace and reunification of the country and nation.

We wish the Korean people great success in socialist construction and the struggle for the reunification of the country.

Samsonov, first secretary of the Vladivostok City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, said in a statement on February 2:

I thoroughly studied Comrade Kim Jong Un's New Year Address that deeply moved the Korean people as well as the progressive mankind.

In his New Year Address, Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed his firm will to open the era of peace without war in the Korean peninsula.

Thanks to his energetic leadership the peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula will surely come true.

As there is Comrade Kim Jong Un, the DPRK will be more prosperous.
