Founding Anniversary of KPA Marked by Czech Organizations

Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association and the Czech Group for the Study and Materialization of the Juche Idea released a joint statement on February 6 on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

The statement said:

For over 70 years since the KPA was founded, the KPA has since made a great contribution to the defence of the sovereignty of the country and peace on the Korean peninsula.

The KPA, the army of the Workers' Party of Korea, has developed into a matchless powerful army which is capable of frustrating the enemy's provocative moves to ignite a war and firmly defending security of the socialist country and its people under the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.

Under the wise leadership of respected Marshal Kim Jong Un the KPA is reliably securing peace in the Korean peninsula and the rest of the world.
