Minju Joson on Sinister Aim of Japanese Reactionaries for Military Provocation
Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- A military friction between south Korea and Japan gets from bad to worse.

The friction is motivated by a threat by a Japanese sea patrol plane. It is reported that such act is not the first one. What merits a more serious attention is that the Japanese authorities, far from making an apology for the illegal military hostile act, claim that it has no reason and intention for threat and it conducted guard and surveillance action and go lengths of warning south Korea to act with discretion.

A commentary of Minju Joson Friday observes:

It is the arrogant and reckless act peculiar to Japan shifting the blame for its own fault on to other and crying "Stop the thief!"

But the recent incident is a very ill-boding one as it cannot be construed as a revelation of Japan's bad habits.

Japan's militaristic policy for overseas aggression has been evolved on the basis of the theory of "threat from north Korea".

As the peace-loving DPRK's stand and bold steps command the unanimous support of the international community, Japan's sophism does not work any longer.

Japan that is used to gaining a profit in pulling up other is upset by the sudden change in the situation on the Korean Peninsula.

As a result, what was invented by Japanese reactionaries is a military provocation.

They seek to secure conditions favourable for the policy of turning Japan into a military giant by giving rise to military conflict with south Korea and reversing the situation around the peninsula.

Afore-said is the truth behind the recent incident.

The Japanese reactionaries should not run wild, mindful that the bitter grudge on the Japanese imperialists remains like an active volcano of retaliation in the hearts of the entire Korean nation.
