Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed by the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia on Feb. 1. Sazhi Umalatova, chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, was elected chairwoman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold political and cultural events such as a celebration meeting on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
