Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 6 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed by the Communist Party "Russian Communists" on Jan. 29. M. A. Suraikin, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party "Russian Communists", was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
