Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Sweden

| Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A Swedish preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Stockholm on January 23. Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from January 24 to February 16 and decided to organize colorful political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il. |
