Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Iceland

| Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Reykjavik, Iceland on January 21. Jon Arni Halldorsson, chairman of the Iceland-DPRK Friendly and Cultural Society, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
