Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- A Romanian national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed on January 23. Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from Jan. 23 to Feb. 16 and decided to hold political and cultural events praising Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits. |
