Int'l Preparatory Committee Formed to Mark Birthday of Chairman Kim Jong Il

| Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- An international preparatory committee for celebrating the 77th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il was inaugurated on Jan. 27. Mikhail Panchenko, general secretary of the International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il. |
