Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Thailand

| Pyongyang, February 1 (KCNA) -- A Thai preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed at Rajabat Pranakorn University on January 20. Songchit Pullarp, chairman of the Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea of Thailand, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to hold various political and cultural events including a seminar and film show in praise of Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits on the anniversary. |
