Setup of Memorial for Victims of Ferry Sewol Disaster Called for

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- The "people's emergency measure committee for the setup of Paengmok memorial", a civic organization of south Korea, held a press conference on January 28 in demand of the setup of the April 16 memorial for honoring victims of Ferry Sewol disaster at Paengmok Port of Jin Islet of South Jolla Province, the Seoul Economic Daily of south Korea said. Speakers said that the project plan for developing the port resumed last year has not any element related with the disaster. They called for arranging the memorial place at the port and erecting the monument to victims. |
