Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A Romanian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed on January 21. Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania and chairman of the Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events in praise of the exploits of Kim Jong Il from January 21 to February 16. |
