Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Denmark

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for marking the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Copenhagen, Demark on January 21. H. Jacobsen, member of the Leadership of the Communist Party in Denmark, Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, and the chief of the Danish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
