National Art Exhibition Opens
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- A national art exhibition opened to mark the 70th birthday of the DPRK.

300 odd art pieces vividly depicting the patriotic devotion of the peerlessly great persons shining in the course of the development of Juche Korea and achievements made by the Korean people in the annals of socialist construction were presented to the exhibition.

Oil painting "Torch in Pochonbo" and Korean painting "Visiting Okdo-ri in Rich Harvest" showing the exploits of President Kim Il Sung make the visitors yearn the President.

Acryl painting "O Korea, I Will Add Glory to Thee" and Korean painting "Despite Heavy Rains" impressively show the devotions of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Korean painting "During the Days of Making the Flag and Emblem of New Korea" depicts noble loyalty of anti-Japanese war heroine Kim Jong Suk.

Also on display are works depicting the DPRK achieving total prosperity under the guidance of Supreme Leader

Kim Jong Un.

An opening ceremony was held at the Korean Art Gallery on Sept. 5.
