Subway Workers Launch Strike in Seoul
Pyongyang, December 4 (KCNA) -- A subway workers union under the public transport union of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions launched an all-out strike outside the Seoul City Office on Nov. 30, urging the authorities to ensure safety of citizens and the rights to labor, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Chamsesang.

Strikers blamed the city authorities for failing to take a measure for the workers distressed for hard labor from early dawn to late night under the excuse that they have no contract with the French company in charge of the subway operation.

A resolution was read out by them.

It said the subway has become a "hell" to citizens and those working there.

It expressed their will to carry on their struggle for the safety of citizens and the workers' rights.
