Tani Baler Lopera, international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland), was elected chairman of the committee.

The committee decided to let various political parties and organizations of Peru hold colorful events of friendship and solidarity with the Korean people, intensify the publicity activities through internet and thus raise the voices supporting the DPRK among the Peruvian people.
