S. Korean Paper Slams Police Authorities' Gag on Press
Pyongyang, October 31 (KCNA) -- The south Korean online paper Jaju Sibo in a special statement on Oct. 26 said that those who suppress the progressive media persons would face judgment of history.

It denounced the Security Investigation Group under the Taegu Police Station for conducting investigation into Kim Pyong Gil, representative of Jaju Sibo, on charges of violation of the "Security Law" on Oct. 24 and 25.

They forcibly searched the house of the representative on Aug. 1.

The statement accused the police authorities of conducting investigation like torture every day while treating the 80-year-old representative as a criminal for the mere reason that he sent clips of papers related to the situation on the Korean peninsula to his juniors in jail.
